i was wondering if there is a difference if you mix all your tracks down to a stereo file and then master or do it all in track form and then just export it? any differences? i've always done all of the mixing and everything while it was still in track form, and then when i was happy with it...

I can't believe that when you buy Sonar 8 Producer version, it comes with only a 30 day trial of the mp3 encoder. then you can no longer export any projects as mp3's. i think that's a bunch of crap! So anyway, i went to cakewalks web page, paid 19.00 bucks to get it unlocked for unlimited use...

on your recording pc. pros? cons? if it's working, why not? is there better performance to be had? I record in 16 bit 44.1 format, but i just bought a 500 gig external hard drive so i'm thinking about going up in recording quality....any body have any thoughts? JasonBird
