Hey fellas. Plugged in my h.m strat the other day after not playing electric for mannny years and got inspired to start playing again. Was messing around with some spur of the moment improv tonight (both the lead and rythmn). Anyone getting any decent sound out of gtr3?

Nice track, I wouldnt say its game changing, but its good! 85 percent of every dude I know is a rapper though, so there is a lottttttt of competition out there, and they are only getting better all the time. Rap is a tough game doggy. Even a tougher sell.

Thanks doggy, this was a quick mix... Made the beat and this mix within a couple hours from scratch...We've added some dubs and adlibs since, I'll post it up in the future.:cool:

Thanks Kc, for the kick I used a sound from "am kicklab". I'll try what you've suggested and see if I can fit a better kick in there. Listening to it again, the vocals sound a little too seperated from the rest of the mix, so maybe I'll try to tweak the eq and volume on some of the other...

I've got a brand new tascam 144mkii still in the box, if you're interested. After deciding to record again after eight years, I figured to get some newwer portable gear, I bought two of them, hoping to link them together with vst system link on two laptops, but they dont support digital signal...

Thanks Tobe, anyone that has any comments besides what i've stated as the obvious? Tuners are the hottest effect trend in current Reggae music btw, they are incorporated into most mixes .:D
