im looking to design a studio 30x30 or 40x30 its going to be slab construction all new so if you dont like those demetions change them..... im just looking to see what you guys would do with something like this
iv been playing around in some cad programs for ideas but have really come up short...
hey im just lookin at the costs of a few things what is an average cost of electrictyper month in a mid sized studio and also what is the cost per ft for an insulated wall ....im just workin out numbers in my head

ok my life room is all wood walls and an acoustical tile ceiling being that the walls are wood already would it be ok to lay carpet in there or is that still a no no... id really rather not put the carpet down but it new and it is free ...

I am in the last leg of construction and im now looking for a flooring. My entire live room is wood so i cant very well put wood on the floor as not to look like a sauna. Any sugestions of hard flooring types.

i just built an iso booth (pictured below) it is a double 2x4 wall. the door is cut in on a 45 which was one bitch to make a door frame for .... buy any way thats done and it is currently pretty sound proof, but the joist and door surround still havent been touched in the ways of sound proofing...
hey i am currently working on a studio it promises to be pretty damn good but one thing that really pisses me off is random noises and foot steps coming in from above there are 2x10 rafters in the ceiling im really for a loss on how to do this any help would be appreciated
