great idea. i'm gonna do the same thing with the 4 songs i'm tracking right now. except i'm only gonna let you in the contest. and i'm not gonna give you anything when you're done mixing them.

Second link much better. I'm glad you did this. I don't get the chance to mix entire drum mixes, so should be fun.
 
Thanks, I'll finally get to see what I can do with real properly tracked drum tracks :D I dl'ed em, fuggifiknow when I'll get a chance to play with em.....
 
They're more properly tracked than mine

Never seen that before eh, it's midi. each note is a diff. drum/cymbal, the red/purple bars on the bottom are how hard u hit it. Send thru ezdrummer / battery / etc.
 
i'm gonna dl these after work just to compare them to raw drum tracks that i recorded recently. i'm curious how they should sound versus what mine actually do sound like.
 
I'm think I'm hearing some distortion on the tracks, coming from the overheads. It could be the cymbals? :confused:

Anybody else? :confused:
