blast from the past--speakers

So I recently acquired a pair of speakers that I find pretty interesting...they say "Ambassador" on them and have a "Maximus Sound" logo. The best I could find on them was an ad for them in a mag from 1966...

Anyone ever heard of/used these things? I'm in the market for a power amp, and I was wondering if they would be decent mixer monitors when I get it.

And yeah, I'm a college student music-equipment scrounge.

Lol looking for stuff on them you would begin to think that they never existed, but I think this might be them.
