Dredger (Pt 2)

I did this tune a year or so ago and just remixed it. The thing started out as a test. I had just downloaded Crystal Synth and was messing with synth sounds (The beginning of course). When I finished the little synth part, the beginning bass line popped into my head. The rest is a hodge podge of meaningless music :) Anyway, Im remixing old stuff from time to time and its time came due. Enjoy http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=8086269&q=hi
 
Intresting, don't honestly listen to alot of synth stuff, but I thought this was pretty cool with the drums came in especially, that guitar was nice. Good work here. I liked how you brought it out of nowhere and made it work well. Good instrumental, not sure if you do but would be cool with some vocals too. I could see this being a pretty badass track. Keep it up.

Thanks. It was a weird situation doing it. I need to load up the synth and really teach myself more. There is alot of great sounds you can get out of Crystal Synth and there are alot of second party sounds you can import.
 
Sounded like the Guitar part was real, not familar with the Crystal Synth, you do the guitar?

I play everything (try that is). The guitar was actually my Carvin guitar plugged into a Boss GT8 which was DI'd into my mixer. The bass was Di'd also.
 
everything sounds really cool except the bass...comes across as way too "boingy" to me!
 
that was kickass! i really enjoyed it, although i do have to agree with ironklad audio, i wasnt really into the bass tone...


keep up the great work!!!

Never thaught about putting vocals to it. If I did I would have to redo the structure some. It was just a little jam that grew. I do need to get off my ass and do some originals with lyrics. I guess Im just not comfortable doing that at my present experience level. It boils down to confidence, I guess.
 
Lol. Not bad once it gets rolling. i thought it was gonna be all synthy gayness. :D
