I have a computer that came with Vista installed....I want to clean it off and install XP. my mother board is a ECS MCP61P-AM ( http://support.gateway.com/s/MOTHERBD/Shared/4006203R/4006203Rmv.shtml ) I know this will probably void my Gateway warranty but thats not an issue....
computer specs are : Athlon 64 X 2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2.10 Ghz with 2 gb RAM.
I was told by a friend that I will have to have XP motherboard drivers after installing XP. I have an account with Driversagent.com which lets me log on and scan computers and update drivers.....are the drivers going to be a huge issue or can I just install XP and use my Driversagent account to update drivers?
