Not that there's anything wrong with posting....But you do realize you just responded to a 3 year old thread, right???

I'm not wishing to be rude by asking this, so please don't take this the wrong way, but what is the point of these comments about recent responses to the thread having been posted after three years?

Does this mean that people can't introduce new information from which others can learn, or that a thread somehow has a 'life' after which it or its usefulness 'expires'? Please enlighten me.

It subsequently occured to me that Madaudio and Rami also responded to this 'three year old thread'. And also, of course, that it would be nice to keep comments on topic (hence my question).
