I use reason and I am trying to make a very simple and common 16th note octave jumping bassline (found in 80s italo disco, disco, etc..). Two 16th notes on lower octave and two 16th notes on higher octave etc, nothing too hard or special. Well I am having a problem with the lower octave notes...

One more thing I have a apogee duet and from what i heard has unbalanced trs jack, the monitors I am using are balanced. So should I use balanced or unbalanced cable? thanks

my fault! they are TRS CABLES sorry about that. Are TRS CABLES ok with 15 feet of cord?? thanks

they are active monitors, balanced xlr cables

This might be a stupid question lol. I am getting some new monitors in the next week. I have some 15 foot cables for them. Is that too long? or does that even matter? I thought I heard that they should be 10 foot or under but not sure. thanks

Can you put different strings on a bass guitar without it sounding bad or different? Meaning say i put brand X roundwound strings on my bass guitar. And say that a string broke or I want to change two of the strings (but not all of them)...Will it be ok to replace the one string or two strings...
