I got this high pitch whine coming from my SBLive. It changes pitch some when different things are displayed on the monitor. Now the monitor is a good 2 feed from the computer. My servo120 going to my "monitors" is a good 5 feet from my monitor. I get this same whine from my pc speakers too...

A friend of mine (amazing isn't it a friend!), who is a drummer, is looking for a powered floor monitor. He just needs something small maybe a 8" or 10" speaker. I've not found many just wondering if anyone knows of one. As far as price looking for under $300.

Just got my AKG C1000S and wanted to thank everyone that helped me make my decision. I couldn't be happier. I can tell (at least I think so) a huge difference between recording acoustic with this mic and the sm57. Thanks for the help everyone. NOW for a large diaphragm!

Ok... just found one at a music shop here and bought it used. Got it home and realized "oh it's all balanced input." All of my equipment is unbalanced. SO will I have to solder up some cables like RE said and tie the 2 leads together or what?
