The tuner is accurate to within 1 cent, so it matches the Korg Pitchblack in that respect. I'd say it's a steal for the money. Don't know about the others.

Not sure about the duncan designed. The Pacifica 112v has alnico magnets, the 112j doesn't, as far as I know. They all usually sound great, though.

The pickups on the newer 112v models are, by all accounts, pretty damn good. Pacificas (and Yamahas in general) are consistently good guitars in my experience.

Depends on the customer. I wouldn't mind paying some amount of a premium if I knew the inflated price was definitely contributing to conservation.

Danelectros are pretty nice for the money. I have the Pro, and it's my most played guitar: And Yamaha Pacificas are great, great guitars for the money.
