i have the Zoom HD16, & i love it. the only problem i'm having is it wont read on my comp as usb? i've tried multiple cords & no luck. any suggestions?

Hmmm, oncepureband. I am not having that problem, so I don't know what to suggest.
I lucked into a slightly used R16, only missing the DVD for Cubase (Zoom, or whoever makes the thing, send me one, free) for $50. I love it.

i LOVE my R-16. if someone stole mine id chase them down, take it back, and then offer to buy them one... they are THAT good.
