:confused:I got a yamaha AW4416 digital mixer and the hard drive went bust irreparable, please do help me out on what alternatives that may be easily accessible,I live in Zimbabwe a country challenged on technological access so I need something basic alternative drives that might be found in an ordinary computer shop, Thanks:confused:

I cant tell you for sure but it probably just has a regular hard drive in it so open it up and look inside and if it looks like a regular PC hard drive then just get a replacement one....

:D

The unit accepts a wide range of 2.5" IDE hard disk drives - up to 64 gigabytes. I'm sure if you call Yamaha, they'll give you a compatability list.

thank you appreciate it, will look around waas in panic there, scared to fiddle around with no info i hope I`ll get something in my challenged country, thanks again

Hi, I'm using a Yamaha AW4416 and have just recorded a song, mixed it, but don't know how to save an individual mix. I need to save it, burn off a copy on CD, listen on a hi fi for any lnstrument levels that need bringing up or down, then open the saved mix to just bring up one instrument or whatever needs changing, without having to re mix the whole song. I'm don't have much technical knowledge, so any advice, a step by step how to would be so helpful, Thanks. Best wishes, Jon
