Do a Google search on that box, and you'll see you are in good company. Couldn't find a picture of it though.

Thanks, man, but you've already told me to buy it, and like I always say, "you have to do what Al says if you wanna' not sound like shit." It's actually a mastering compressor (definitely stereo, but I honestly can't tell yet how many bands, lol...4, I think), but I've been running some guitar tracks through it, and vocals...crap, EVERYTHING just sounds better...I don't know if it's softer or warmer or just mushed up, lol... I've also found out that it was apparently used by some radio stations (oops)... so for everybody who just hates the sound of radio compression...well, I'll try to keep the gain at a reasonable level, lol.crawdad said:

Seriously, if you do that Google search you'll see a lot of mastering houses that have that box in their racks.
If everything on it works, and you like what it does snag that sucker. Like all quality vintage stuff it'll only get more valuable as it gets older.
