There's not a lot of rythmic variation in the grind between instruments....the playout tends to lay flat.

But the #1 thing to better it, IMHO is some sustaining notes on the bass to sweep the bottom with some forward momentum.

#2 is the overly-huge flange on the lead vox. Yikes!
 
I agree on the vocal effects. I'd keep them simple.

Also agree on the instrument parts. Kind of a sameness to them. 'Cept maybe the bass.

Not much "umph" to the mix. The rhythm is not hitting me like it needs to.

P.S., I like the song.
 
Thanks. So more work on dynamics. I think it is slightly better musically than some other stuff I've done. The flange on vox wasn't deliberate. Will have to backtrack and see where it came from. I only play rhythm guitar, so still trying to figure out how to do other instruments effectively in midi.
