Would you use these?

In another forum I read someone saying that they would be buying and using these for monitoring. I advised against it because these are designed for sound reinforcement (listening) purposes. What'ya think?

Those are P.A. speakers. "Sound reinforcement" applies to live settings, not the studio. So yes, you were right to advise against them.

I can pretty much guarantee that it would be VERY hard to mix on those if not impossible.
