Hey guys,
This is really starting to annoy me. After I finish finalizing my mixes I save it to .wave through Cubase LE4. Well when I convert it to mp3 using GoldWave I get a strange noise that almost sounds like a flanger has been placed into the mix. I was thinking that it may be because I have some clipping after I finished finalizing the mix, though it it only clipped just slightly, just a few times. Which from what I read here shouldn't be too much a problem.
I even tried to put through the Lame encoder in Audacity and still the problem persists. So I'm not sure what it could be. I'll try to lower the levels in Cubase to where there is no clipping to see how that fairs.
I'll post the audio clip here to see if maybe you guys can figure it out by listening to it.
