I've got a Roland GR33 midi gtr hook-up...and can do trumpets... actually one of the better psuedo patches

But seriously, don't let this stuff get ya down or in your way. It'll all come together. People like this burn their bridges all day long and people like yourself will keep moving on.

Put it in the catagory of bad indigestion and nothing more. All in all, it actually appears you have alot accomplished and are moving on real good. Shoot, you could have run out of beer or something major...if you catch my drift. Put this in the "minor occurances" catagory, be the pro you are and move on.

Mix Engineers do the bidding of the cheque writer BUT they should be a conduit for the artist's aims as filtered by the producer who should be in synch with the artist.
Please don't tar all young, arrogant whiz kids with the same brush though the next one might just have "it".
Oh, & congrats on giving a youn'un a chance. Hopefully he's benefitted from the experience and will go away and learn his chops.
