Hey lads I need a little help. Originally I was wanting an upright piano but it is going to be almost impossable to get one into my flat, so I'm stuck with the synthetics.

I only have around £200 to spend at the moment so I was going to try and get the best 88 key fully weighted hammer-action controller keyboard for that. I have a decent virtual piano so thought this was probably the best way to go about it.

I tried a fully weighted fatar controller a while back and was impressed but I can't remember the model number and to be honest the whole controller keyboard market has accererated passed me. So if you can help with any suggestions, I really just am after the closest as I can get to the weight & feel of a real piano, I don't care about any other features like pitch wheels or buttons or more ins & outs.

I am realistic however and know that £200 give or take wont fool me into thinking I'm sitting at a real piano, but like I said - as close as possible!!

Cheers again everyone :)

Studiologic is the closest in that price range for me.

any opinions from anyone? model numbers etc?

is there any reason to increase my budget or will an extra £50 or £100 not make any real difference in this price range?

thanks

thanks anyway lads, i'm looking into getting a studiologic vmk series keyboard, if all is good i'll let you know what i think of it.

Novation Remote SL 25

I am using a Novation Remote SL 25 and its great! It has heaps of sliders, buttons, and knobs to assign to whatever you like, depending on what software you're running. Its only a 2octave synth so if you are performing wider stuff than that might not be for you, though its fine for programming.
