Sennheiser HD-280.

$99 all day every day at GC and all over the interwebs.

So did the above fixes work out for you???

First I need to get a new pair of headphones. The ones I currently have cant be plugged in to my interface. I was on a low budget, and anything that wasnt something I needed to buy I didnt. I had a decent pair of headphones so I didnt buy any.

and what about a monitors for below 100? I was planning on using just the headphones to save money, but I might as well get the monitors along with the new headphones.

Does anybody have suggestions on a pair of good studio headphones I can plug in to my interface for under 150?

Maybe you should consider first purchasing an OS with driver support. I couldn't get Vista to play nice either. Windows 7 FTW, or XP if you're planning on using less than 4G of RAM and can find a license.

HP - Pavilion Laptop / Intel® Core™ i3 Processor / 15.6" Display / 4GB Memory / 500GB Hard Drive - Aluminum - dv6-3225dx

Is this laptop a good laptop to run Sonar 8.5 Studio on? Ill keep doing it on 64-bit.

Then all I need to do is buy the new headphones. Becuase I got an adapter for my current headphones, and plugged it in to the interface, and it came back clear with everything. But when I turned the monitor nob over to computer I got more crackling. I might just change the sound care with new laptop. But either way I need to buy monitors, so does anyone know of any monitors that work well with my interface, and are under 100?

Have you tried any of the fixes suggested above???

I figured out what the problem is. But Ive decided to just keep my current computer as an everyday use computer, and get a Windows 7 computer to record on.

So does anyone have thoughts on that PC running Sonar 8.5 Studio?
