I've got an NT1 and an sm58 which I run through an ART TUBE MP.

Is the ART Tube MP a good investment, or is there something else for a little bit more money that will yield better sound? I am currently running my SM57 through a Behringer Eurorack Mixer serving as a pre-amp, would I notice a sound change if I ran it through that Art Tube Pre before the mixer?

I use the mic that came with my computer.

Works well for all applications.

You should hear my drums.

meriphew, I was blown away how simaler the Octavas were to a KM-184. Sonicly, to my ear they have much the same kind of sound. The Neumann has more "air", but it also cost a hell of a lot more than the Octava.

Well....I've only just bought my first proper mic - a 21st birthday present!

I've got an AT4033 going into a Midiman Audio Buddy Preamp. Compared to what I was using before (a Samsung karaoke mic going into a Tascam 4 track) it sounds amazing!!!!!:D
