I'm sure everyone has heard this a million times, but im stumped. I don't know if I should use an L-shaped desk or a tripple shelved desk. Ill put a picture of whats going on below. So, I have a full sized yamaha mm6 synthesizer, Laptop, in the process of purchasing new monitors, audio interface, and thats about it for now.. I think.. :P I plan on adding on as time goes on. But, what type of desk do you guys think I should get? Any other ideas other than the ones I mentioned? I dont want to have my stuffed crammed, I like having room. And room to add stuff to my studio setup. Let me know what you guys think, thanks! -royal

Well, there you go, mate ! You knew the answer all along !

You don't want to mix in a corner. The mixing position should be centred along the shortest dimension, and it is often suggested you sit at 38% of the longest (around 7'7" in a 20' room).

What about the StudioRTA Producer, Creation or Project Station?

This is what I'd suggest for your room (I went with 20'x12' with 2'6" doors):

I feel like everyone that uses like a 4 ft. desk is always crammed in what their doing and have no room for expansion. In the picture I posed before, do you think it would be alright if I put my laptop on the top shelf and my yamaha mm6 synth keyboard below it? And just have the other side for extra space for add ons and racks and such?

Yep, just make sure you don't mix in the corner and centre yourself along the short dimension. What about the producer station? I've got that, and it's big enough for what i need.
