So are you saying that you had an understanding early on about the seriousness (or lack thereof) of the Coronavirus that the medical and disease experts did not?
It's the wrong question, elicited to provoke the desired answer, and thus a false conclusion. Question wasn't directed at me, but I'll take a stab.
COVID? I had my concerns, who in their right mind didn't. I saw it coming long before the vast majority had even known it was out there. I predicted it, I knew it, it was coming to this country eventually. I saw videos from China, govt goons in hazmat suits snatching people off the street and throwing them into the back a van. Welding apartment building doors shut locking people inside from leaving. I told people, here, it's coming. Something bad, bad stuff. "They can't do that here, can they?", my nephew asked. Well, they can do about whatever the hell they want to do, I answered. Fast forward, they tried. Oh yeah, they tried. Lockdowns, people unable to support their families because they lost their jobs, gutting the military, can't shop for groceries to feed your family unless you submit, looking around at everyone wearing a mask, wondering, where the hell am I, how the hell did we get here.

The cure cannot be worse than the disease, that was my stance. Even though I did not know what the future would bring, that was my stance, and although I will not put words into other people's mouths, people here, that was their stance as well. In my judgement, and imo history has verified, I/we were right, correct. Your medical and disease experts were in many cases wrong, and lied to your fucking smug gob. When made aware by those of us, you, "more please". I mean, partly because you were scared and went full on with supporting the stripping away the rights of your fellow citizens to save your cowardly life, but it was just as much a political game.
In short, we didn't know then what we know now, not all of it but we did know the cure cannot be worse than the disease. The cure?....you're living it, as are we all. So don't spew this bullshit about it all being fate and out of the hands of those who perpetuated the madness, the sorry state in which we find ourselves is nobody's fault. You supported it, let's just start there. But you will not be honest with yourself, and hold yourself accountable for the part you played. No, you'll just throw around stupid, smug gotcha questions, with a heavy lean on....
