Deepwater horror
I'd just like to add since I never bothered to tell anyone that I had a terrible experience with Deepwater about 2 years ago.
My speakers arrived about a month and 3 weeks after I ordered them dented and scratched badly. I took pictures - I'll have to look and see if I saved them - for my records and emailed deepwater. I don't think I ever got a response from him until I managed to hunt down his local number through the yellow pages.
He assured me that UPS has dented a pair before and that he shipped them insured. He actually told me that I would end up with the insurance money + the dented speakers after all was done. So you mean I get a free pair of speakers and my money back sounds too good to be true - well guess what

.
So I called UPS and started the whole process. UPS claimed that they were only coming by to check the merchandise but they really wanted to take the speakers and send them back to deepwater. After my futile protests I just ended up giving them to UPS to ship to deepwater. Here is the thing - UPS will not tell you if they covered the insurance claim or not, they will only tell deepwater.
Okay somewhere around month 6 of no communication (phone, email, or otherwise) , refund, or speakers. I finally ended up sicking his wife on him via his home phone number. That did the trick

See at this point I was very pissed. Not only did he have my money, he had my speakers, AND possibly an insurance refund of $300+. So he had a possibly grand total of $900 maybe more of merch and I had nothing.
Through out this entire interaction I was extremely laid back and cool with the guy but to tell the truth he just came off as not giving a crap. It wasn't until I sicked his wife on him (who couldn't believe how long I had waited) and threatened legal action that I got a refund and went somewhere else.
If you guys want a real deal on these speakers - call IAG directly and bypass the middle man. That was by far the most hassle free transaction and the cheapest way to go. Deepwater was an absolute nightmare.
Currently running 4 Wharfedale 8.2 actives and a sub for Quadraphonic/Surround Sound playback with Delta 1010 sound interface. I love these speakers for my small room and if I was ever to update I would probably buy the IAG Quads. Also IAG who is the parent company of Wharfedale has many other sister companies with great speakers for consumers and audiophiles that are worth looking into. So I have no problem with the product at all but just buyer beware with blind internet sales.
