mucis procedure
Need mixing comments. My sister sings bad, just ignore the vocal. Only mixing advice. Dont have a good singer in here, only my sister.

Aw, your sis isn't that bad. The autotuning on her voice is pretty wretched, but anyway...

Disclaimer: I'm listening on some pretty mediocre computer speakers here at work with relatively low volume.

To me, the mix sounds a bit top-heavy; very bright and thin. The drums seem to occupy most of the mid range, where I'd rather hear some guitar filling out the space. The drums seem a bit up in the mix, which is not really a good thing for programmed drums (they were programmed, right? I'm not losing my ears yet?). Especially hihats.

I never really caught the bass, my speakers don't have much bass, but either you've got it buried or it's such a dark sound that my speakers aren't getting it.

Anyway, sounds clean, just needs to be meatier IMHO.

hey firstly, give your sis a break, she's not that bad a singer :) she reminds me of avril. there are some spots i think the autotuner could be used.

as for the mix, i like the guitar sounds, i think they sound pretty distinctive and stand out.

the drums seem a little busy i think at times. are they samples?

can't really hear much bass, i think it doesn't seem to play a major part in the song.

i like the song actually, it sounds very pop.

good work.

This was a joke, right? :) Was there actually a spot the autotuner wasn't used? I think the autotune should definitely be toned down some - it was quite extreme and distracting. I really like your sister's voice actually.

As far as the mix went, it sounded good to me. Oddly, I found the bass easily in the mix - I liked its level. One of the main things I didn't like was the hi-hat - it sounds bad (not bad...good, bad...bad :D). Also, the identical cymbal crashes started to bother me - using a few different ones throughout would help.

Dig the song! Nice. :)

HER PITCH IS EXCELLENT, lol.

Yeah, you might wanna' pull it back a bit. I thought the Avril comment was funny...there's a reason that girl sounds like a sine wave, hehehehee.

Can you post a version with the Antares on about 50? It might be cool without looking for a different singer.

Personally, I thought the mix was really good...the crashes are distracting, though. I just think you overused it.

I concur with all the above auto-tune comments, it sounds like she has a nice voice, but the auto-tune butchers it. If you're intentionally going for the Cher effect, please reconsider.... :D

I'd tone back the drumming quite a bit -- the constant cymbal hits and ghost notes on the snare are distracting.

No complaints mix-wise. Guitars sound good.

Hello guys thnx for your comments

Autotune is set at 20. its not antares, it obreheim autotune. I can hear my bass well in my speaker and my media player EQ is set to FLAT. I know my music sounded like thin but I dont know why. Crashes are all the same, im getting tired of pasting other kinds of crashes so i just used one file for all crashes :( anyway thnx for all of your replies.
