Well today was rough...

We had a mass killing event Christmas time last year. A black man ran through a Christmas parade with his SUV. I’m not sure how many died in that attack, but it was pretty horrific.
Very little media coverage and Joe Biden never came out to say we had to have restrictions on vehicles because they were killing machines. All political. Didn’t fit in with the agenda

As to incidents of violence here in the United States, I’m pretty sure we have one of the highest rate of people medicated on mind altering drugs......anti depressants which all have side effects of many things including depression, suicidal and homicidal tendencies.
Insane people do insane things.
Not sure why you're picking on a singular event as opposed to the over 200 mass shootings in less than 150 days in the US.
It's not the same and you know it.

Thomas
In any mass murders of any kind in Europe I dont thing they have been in the same numbers as terrorist attacks here with vehicles. I think the number was around 80 in one attack in France a few years ago. He used a truck.

In fairness they are restrictions and conditions on vehicle ownership almost everywhere. So I see no problem with same on guns. But it is an easy target for inept politicians and police. When they want to look good on crime they simply introduce new conditions on gun ownership because it is easy and cheap to do. They never solve anything, but it is headlines.

Even now the politicians are trying to ban guns by banning ammunition because it contains lead. If they do ban all guns in European countries. It won't stop murder or mass murder and it wont stop criminals getting guns or terrorists killing people. For instance there was one man in a shopping center in one Norway only last September who was killing shoppers with a bow and arrows.
Ah, old school assassin. 😂

I said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s not the guns, it’s crazy people.

Pre widespread usage of anti depressants, gun laws were very lax in the US. It was quite common to on a Saturday morning during deer hunting season to see a neighbor walking through your backyard to the woods in camouflage gear and a rifle.
People weren’t scared and people weren’t getting killed .

Once anti depressants come on the scene and we’re widely prescribed, shootings started.
Gun legislation got tighter and didn’t fix shit.

Big problem is these drugs fucking up peoples minds

What the fuck are you talking about?

I brought up the vehicle attack as an example of how some things aren’t picked up on because of the politics.

Simple enough.,

It's not funny.
And... It IS THE GUNS.
You sell them to crazy people, with absolutely no regard or problem, and you do it EVERY DAY.
You resist/stall/negate background checks.
You lower age limits.
You encourage open carry.
It's fucked.
The system is idiocy.

An anomaly vs a chronic idiocy.

None of the pro gun people here would have the guts/stamina to spew what I'm reading here in an in person meeting with the 38 parents of the murdered 19 children.
Let's see you do it.
What a bunch of fucking bullshit.

Bullshit.
No country has this problem except for the US.
Bullshit.
No G7 or probably G20 country has this problem.
Bullshit.
There are lots of countries in the world and in Europe where guns readily available and held by the public. They do not have the same problems with guns as America.

You really should go and check facts instead of jumping up and down and shouting.

I never sold a gun to anyone.

And yes I can make a joke about the bow and arrow guy.

This is the United States and we have a constitution. We have a bill of rights.

That constitution acknowledges (not gives)
That we have the right to bear arms.

As Thomas Jefferson said; when the people fear the government you have Tyranny. When the government fears the people we have liberty.

Look at how all the nations that don’t have that right treated during the covid lockdowns. Fucking Tyranny.

I know you immigrated on your tricycle at an early age to Canada so it’s highly likely it wasn’t your choice, but you’re a Canadian now.
There’s nothing American left in your soul.

You’ve turned into a socialist liberal, and that’s sad.

I believe in the founding principles of this nation, and constitution, and in the military, swore an oath to defend and protect it from both foreign and domestic enemies.

You are a foreign enemy to the constitution and you’re always here starting shit.

You’re just a Canadian Troll.

Only the access to guns is.

Call me whatever you want IDGAF.
Your program is fucked.
You don't want to admit it, but we both know it's true.
More guns will never fix the issue of too many guns.

No Dave. We both don’t know it’s true.
Don’t assume things.

Besides I never advocated for needing more guns.

And believe it or not, I don’t even own one.

Well there are two things here. Americans appear to think through their total ignorance or education that only they matter and exist in the world and everybody else is living in a third world country and subservient to them.

We dont, arent and we are just as intelligent and technologically advanced as America.

We even own guns or some of us do and also similar guns to Americans. But we dont feel the need to kill each other as Americans often do and the evidence in facts and figures to prove same.

So the problem is Americans and not a tool, weapon or lump of metal. It is the person who is using such.

The access to guns in some countries is easier than in America.

It's too easy.
It's too easy to acquire the "simple" answer to "your problem".
It's bullshit.
