Woof! Woof! That was yes sir in dog language, but you already know that!!! :D

I thought it was "Timmy's in the well!" ;)

Nice job Dogman! I like this. I've got some ideas and if I get a chance this week I'll see what I can throw together.

Theyr a UK band that are pretty big in UK.

Dude was that sarcasm? I can't get in the car without hearing a coldplay song these days. I can't imagine anyone in the U.S. not having at least heard of those guys haha.

Dogman- pretty cool instrumental bed. I might try and come up with something if I get some free time. Got a session I need to finish up this week first.

No, i knew they were pretty massive in UK but didnt know if they had broke America yet. Good band although im usually into heavier stuff.

Bass line compliments the song nicely. I like what you did.
Someone get some vocals down to that before any keys please!!
Not too sure about the 6 min length, but depends what variety can be brought to the mix i suppose.

Thanks and I'm glad you liked it.

I started w/ some lyrics and was testing out a little melody for them but have nothing good yet. Feel free to jump on it!

I dont have the equipment to record decent I dont think. I might try and see what my cheap mic going straight into my Sounblaster audigy 2 sounds like, but im pretty sure i know its gonna be gadz.

I love this song. It's beautiful in a sideways sort of Alex Lifeson way. Dreamy!! Great use of complex overtones, Dog. I'd love to contribute, but I'm not sure how to get the file live in Sonar.

I'm diggin' on this one!!

Casey, don't know if this'll help but what I do is convert mp3 to wav using Audacity (freeware). You just drag the mp3 icon into the Audacity window and it does it automatically, then File/export as wav. Works great, but I'm assuming you use Windows.

VSpaceBoy hit the nail on the head with that bass line. ;)

Just some thoughts I'd like to throw out.
I think if this progession goes on for a long time, it'd be good to change the drum beat. To change it's conciousness maaannnn.

Or if you use it as a hook or chorus or whatever, use only the first part of the progression untill some strategic point in the song where you could double it and the key changes would be very dramatic.

I don't know what you all have in mind, just some observations on what I might do with it.

I heard the version without bass first, then with the bass added.

Nice job so far guys. I'll try and follow this and see how it turns out in the final mix.

maybe ad some distorted guitar powerchords in certain parts to spice it up a little.
unfortunately i don't have decent sound at the moment so i can't record it for you

Thanks CD. Got to the jam thread. There is a longer version in there with a bass played by VSpaceBoy. Damn cool....
