Whats up guys. I'm needing to get some good processing tools such as eq, compressor, and limiter. I was thinking about getting the waves native power bundle for 375.00. I currently using protools mpowered and the plugins that came with that. I also have the digitalfishbones comp bundle. Just wondering what you guys would suggest. The bundle comes with Reverb, L1, C1 EQ, Double Tap, deesser, and maybe something else. thanks alot.

It's probably an upgrade that pushes you in the right direction. Waves is very popular but too expensive for me. I'm sure others can tell you some details.

I think Voxengo has funner toys, albeit a little tricky to get the hang of.

You can't run Voxengo on a Mac though can you?

I have the Waves Diamond Bundle and I would not trade for the world, expensive and sometimes a computer resource hog but I do recommend.

I just want to throw in a second option here. I bought some plug ins from a company called wave arts and am very very pleased. I had some waves demo's downloaded for a few days and decided to try the wave arts ones against them and honestly thought the wave arts plugs were slightly better than the waves plugs. I ended up buying trackplug5(10 band eq, 2 compressors, gate, and limiter all in one), masterverb5(amazing for the price), and Mulitdynamics5(can't live without it now). I use these plugs over everything else I own and only paid 175 per plug. Plus you don't have to deal with an Ilok or any BS like that. Not to mention also their customer service is world class, I actually had a problem using the plugs in AS(pro tools le 6.4) and got on their forums to complain, well after about 30 minutes I went back to check for responses and a wavearts guy(rob martino) had already answered back and said he'd have a fix emailed to me by the next day. Well 2 hours later he had the fixes to me and had me up and working. Couldn't be happier. I advise everyone who is interested to download the available demo's, 30 days with no annoying pops or glitches.

Ah, I missed that part of your post.
I dunno, if you can use the digital fish phones stuff you should be able to. All you need is a VST host.

How does the limiter compared to the L1 and is the Trackplug cpu heavy? I have been hearing good things about them here lately.
