if you can coax her to break a bunch of dishes, you could remove the cabinet doors and put dem monitors more towards ear level.. :D

It's been a tradition since I got sick of not being able to find the keys some 20+ years ago that one of the first things upon moving in is to install hooks.

Those cabinets have lots of miscellany, no dishes. Definitely not the ideal setup, but workable. I rough mixes in on headphones and then work on the details standing a few feet back from the computer. Keeps me for messing too much with the mix.

Hey, cool. The car keys and the pizza coupons can be reached from the engineer's chair. Good planning!. Plus with those keys handy you get to test microphones at will... :D






Of course, you must be aware that I invented the car key...... I'll just calculate the back royalties due and e-mail you a bill. You can fax me a photocopy of a couple hundred dollar bills and we'll be all set. :cool:

The pics are real... we believe you.... they're just of a different studio, and you tried to present them as yours.... You probably have a Behringer 4 ch mixer, hooked up to a Panasonic stereo.... :eek:
