Wanna get SP C3..quick ques.

I have read that its a great mic for the money. I saw that the C1 rated high for its class in the polls. Would the C3 rate as high in its class? Is the money spent to get the C3 worth it compared to the C1? Whats different? I was also thinking of the Rode NT-2000. I heard that this had a very bright sound.. i dont want that.. This is my second mic.. wanna get it right. I will use it for vocals and acoustic guitar. Any help is appriciated. C

well the T3 is probably the best one of the 3 ----C1, C3,T3
iTS A TUBE mic warmer on vocal bigger sound-- but i have the C1 also..
The T3 has a nine position knob ..I've read you can dial in close to the sound of the C#3 and C1 on it...gee i see a T3 on ebay only 250 so far

The C3 is multi-pattern which means it should be more versatile than the C1. The C1 is a fixed-cardioid mike. Even though they are both C series mikes, it looks like they are totally different with different capsules and the specs are different. So, they are not simply the same mike with a different pickup pattern.

One more thing. You probably want to make sure your room acoustics are good if you get the multi-pattern mike because the non-cardioid polar patterns will get more of the room sound.
