Waltz for a Hollywood Backlot

Hi,

I've been lurking in this forum for a little bit now, checking things out and whatnot, and I decided it would be cool to post something of mine.

Recording quality wise, it's pretty weak, recorded straight through a single microphone as that's all I have going right now, I've been working on getting equipment and honing my recording skills, but I'm still fairly terrible.

The song is called Waltz for a Hollywood Backlot, a big consideration I had while I was writing it was an efficient use of language, I wanted it to be as simple as possible and for every line to be as meaningful as possible...whether or not I've achieved that remains to be seen . Hopefully I've been able to frame a story but still leave a lot of room for your imagination to take it where you want it to go.
