hey all - I'm finally getting around to recording a few songs - singer/songwriter stuff.
I've spent some time searching/reading and I feel a bit overwelmed.

I've got a 57 and some 58s as well as a couple of RE200s and a CAD e100.
Should I be looking for something else (I'd like to not spend more than $200-300 so I can put more into monitors/room) or should I be able to make this work with some placement experimenting?
Or maybe I should be asking...how would YOU make this work for you?

I'd give the re200s and the CAD e100 a go! You should be able to get some pretty nice results with those. There's a nice guide to micing an acoustic somewhere around here...I'll go dig it up really fast!

The Audio Technica Pro 37s are really good on acoustic guitar and you can probably get a pair in your price range. Also great drum overheads.
