VF80 Play button COLLAPSED!!!!!

My MR-8 record button started collapsing a while back (doesn't help having to hit 'rec+yes' to delete unused...)

I tried some 'exploratory surgery', but there are so many fragile-looking ribbon cables attached to discrete boards that I'm waiting until the patient flatlines before digging deeper.

Yeah, I remember now it wasn't P.B. Blaster but it was contact cleaner. And, blaster corrodes styrofoam and very weak plastics like that, it's not going to eat through your casing or buttons, unless you spray it like every fuckin' day. I just sprayed mine once and it has been fine for 3 or four months since. And if I'm using a VF80 isn't it obvious I have little experience? Those things suck ass. I'm getting Tascam FW1884.

you can easily detect a lack of inteligence by thi limited vocabulary of people, with all the descriptive words in the english language, some poeple can only remember the four lettered ones???
