uploading mp3s to Lightningmp3.com - not working??

So i use iTunes to convert my aiffs to mp3s, then when i try to upload it on lightningmp3.com it says

"The file you attempted to upload is not recognized as an mp3 file
Please upload only mp3 files. Type attempted: application/force-download"


what gives? anyone else have this problem?

I've uploaded files several times with Firefox. Recently I've had problems uploading to LightningMP3. It didn't matter which browser that I tried. It acted as if the file was uploading and then it would just quit.

I've had MAJOR probs uploading to Soundclick. Too the extent that the comp times out & the can't find server message comes up. This happens if I attempt to upload prior to 9pm Aus EST.
Traffic? Fed up with freebies?
Are any of you experiencing difficulty PAYING customers?

Hmmmmm -

I just tried it and it worked just fine.

Some tips -

Use Internet Explorer.

Make sure you are not behind a corporate style firewall - it strips the file type indentifier info.

Use RazorLame to convert wavs to mp3/

I doubt it - unless FireFox started allowing the file type info (don't know the exact terminology, I ain't too much of a programmer). You MUST use IE or Safari!

I don't even have IE on my computer because it's like an all you can eat buffet for worms and trojans. Every time that I've uploaded to your server [at least 5 or 6 times] it was with either Mozilla or Firefox.

That's weird, because at least twice I have tried to upload with Firefox and even though it looked like it had been sent, I never got a confirmation email back from NL5's site. With IE, no problems whatsoever.

Tried with IE and Firefox, both had same problem.
Could be my firewall. Ill look into it.
