Which Tapes to use?
Normal Position or Type 11 Metal.
I've heard metal will stuff your heads, yet remember reading something about using type 11.

ESTRELLA have you had any luck with the AT RMX-64 - my one is moody, it loves recording 2 tracks but won't go any further.

Is there a trick to recording tracks 3 and 4?

Is this for mixdown??

Type ll is more dynamic than l. I've used metal and my heads stayed cleaner than using l which sheds iron oxide.....

Yeah I meant the original tape to record onto.
I think theres more info in the four track FAQ on this website.
