Trying to Remove Strange Echo/Tin sound when recording voice over

I didn't hear anything but the sibilance and a little room resonance around 250-300Hz or so.
 
Yeah it's just one of those cases where it'd be fun(er :) to understand better.. Connecting the verbage to the actual audio.
 
Yeah, not hearing how a HP filter @4KHz is improving that file.

LP @ 4KHz/6dB-octave is some improvement, but still sibilant.
 
Is it possible that sometimes the OP is not speaking into the correct side of the mic (or maybe into the top of it)? It's a Cardioid pattern.
 
I think it's an issue inherent to cheap Chinese mics.

If the OP ever comes back she should consider a different mic. Something dynamic as opposed to condensor.

Or maybe a bullhorn if she is really digging that HP sound. :D
 
If I am hearing the same thing you are talking about....It sounds like resonance from some place in the record chain. Possible culprit is from a reflection off a metal surface like a metal music stand or script holder. Microphone stands themselves can be an issue if not properly isolated or if you are not using a suspension shockmount [I think you most likely are] Resonance is what I hear.
