Take your two mics on a guitar cab for example, or a mic and di on bass on separate tracks. Insert a delay plug 100% wet on one mic or the di. If the're close in time to begin with play with 0.1--2ms . There are some wild eq effects in there to be had.
It's the same as track sliding but you can tweak and listen in the mix in real time. Also very powerful (as well as invert) on the snare/kit mix where a few tenths shifts the whole picture.
