But seriously......I keep the necks on my guitars pretty straight. What might be the pros and cons of this Lt. Bob? I know some players prefer a little relief in theirs. How does this affect intonation?

well, seriously I've always kept mine pretty straight too. But my most recent guitar , a custom build, had the technically correct amount of relief when the guy set it up and it's my most favorite guitar ever and I don't notice any intonation issues. The actual measurement of the difference in where the string is is pretty small so I don't think it's enough to be a problem.
Plus ...... with a little relief you have less trouble with buzzing strings.
I don't personally think you end up pushing the string that much further to make a difference.

But one thing, I set my string height pretty highish. It might be different if you're one of those guys that likes his strings really low.

sorry .... sorry ..... don't know what happened there.

What I meant to say was, "Relief! .... we don't need no stinkin' relief!"

Anyway, when it comes to neck relief and action height, my preference on most of my guitars is to have as little relief as possible and a pretty low action. But I find that each guitar is unique in what relief and action you can achieve without buzzing, so they're all just a little different.

Remember, when adjusting your rod use your non-dominant hand, then it feels like someone else. :)
