Truest response for the price?

Hi, I'm looking to buy my 1st pair of active studio monitors but I don't have an absolute fortune to spend. Which of the following monitors have you guys found to give the most accurate sound?

M-Audio BX-8
Yamaha MSP 5
Alesis Mk1 Mk2's
Wharfedale diamond pro 8.2
Behringer B2031A

Would I need a sub with these systems? If I can avoid it I will but not at the expense of my recordings. Thanks for your time.

subs will help, but are not necessary. you will need one in the future with the wharfedales tho.
