Hello all,
I am a DJ and have worked with sound forge for the past 3 years. With that program, traking a wav file was fairly simple; thus I would set markers>convert markers to regions>extract regions...then use ecdc5 platinum to compile the seperated files. By doing this, I could take a wav file: for example one that was 56 minutes long and break it into multiple tracks. This is a continious mix so I would set the trasition to 0 gap, therefore there would be no silence between the track changes. I am trying to figure out how to do this with cool edit pro, but have had no luck. I am familiar with dropping track markers in cool edit, then viewing the cue list..etc...however, each time I batch the files, then burn them to disc, it places a gap in between the tracks...even if I set the gap to 0. Can anyone tell me the best way to track a wav file within CEP...then save the files as mp3 to be placed together on a CD. Thanks in advance...
