The Admins of this site need to add a topic section with something to do with :

This is my Studio, what its about, and where I am located.

This would allow all of us on here to see if any other engineers / studios are possibly near by to where we live. Maybe new connections can be made that way. I just bought a ton of gear to get started with my home studio, but I don't know of anyone else in this area (Central Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, Pa) who also has a Studio. It would be cool to meet and hang out with other engineers and live and learn together. It also might be cool to know someone is close by with a recording resouce I dont have, or vise versa if needed.

Just a suggestion to the Admins. Maybe some people on here can hook up then and start working together.

Thanx

Its a good idea, although i dont think it would help enough people to be worth it. Depending on how hard the task of setting something like that up of course. I know it would be a really low percentage of me finding someone near me who has a studio who went on HR, and i live in England which i think...last time i checked, was much smaller than America :D

If its not a hard task i think it could be quite a good idea, but i think only one or two people would really benefit from it.

Maybe you could post a topic saying "Harrisburg, PA Looking For Whatever"

Go to the Cave and ask. There's guys from MI, OH, IL, and the NE states. PG Lewis used to by in KY but he's gone AWOL.

PG, phone home.

There just seems to be a shitload of people on here....and its a a small world. :D I would just be curious who all is close by and where. Also, now that I bought all these toys to record with, I wouldnt mind learning some "tricks of the trade" in person from a veteran engineer.

As far as making a seperate post for this, that should only take all of about 5 minutes. I have, and am "admin" of other discussion boards, and they are easy to set up, and/or add to.

Later
