Mic stands? I still use them all the time.

I think your link became outdated.

wow, i really haven't used a hand drum with beater for a while!

me neither, but just wait 2-5 business days, and that'll all be behind me :D
Since I'm not home 8 months out of the year, I think I'll get my son and daughter each one... :D

Mama will kill me... ;)

Shit, I still record stuff on VHS. This makes me feel almost contemporary! :D

I was stupid enough to click the link right after he posted it (okay, I'll admit, I always check their stupid deal). Anyway, here's a link to the regular listing for the item:

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Trutone-High-Bias-Tape-60-Minute-?sku=931409

(It's a ten pack of 60 minute cassette tapes, in case you don't want to see for yourself. They're $12.99 now; I think they were $9.99 as a Stupid deal.)
Hell, I still have a Fostex MF-P01 and a Tascam X-12! :o

I still use them when I am on the high seas... although not this time around.

I gotta tell ya--I don't have anything that even plays 'em--wait a minute, yes I do. I have a cassette deck in my pickup truck. It's not my daily driver, it's the farmin' ranchin' weekend hauler--and it has a cassette deck.

And we use it all the time (to play an iPod using a cassette adapter! :D)

My brother has one in his old F-150! He does use it all the time. But the problem is that the cassettes are all at least 20 years old, and they are hard to hear now!

Yeah, my truck's not even that old (not by pickup truck standards, anyway) it's a '94. I bought a NOS cassette off ebay a couple years ago. Pressed in 87 or 88 and sat in a a warehouse for about 18 years. It sounded fine. But that tape is permanently stored in the console of that truck--'cuz it's the only cassette deck we've got--in the house or out!

Cassettes- the cock roach of the audio world.

Diskettes- the cock roach of the digital world.

Can't kill 'em. Woefully outdated and antiquated (hey, a rhyme! No, you can't use it in your song. It's MINE! Copyrighted already!) but still around.
