Bob: The clips sound good man, I especially like the POG clips, & especially the first part, it really sounds like an organ/keyboard playing along with your guitar....I bet that does sound great when you play live, & would absolutely fill in a lot of gaps here/there...


I'm trying to find out when they're gonna bury my buddy, life does suck pretty hard sometimes...It's just a damn shame because he was so young & had a couple young kids...


On the Cubase thing Greg, I did use it for a while, but Reaper is just so much easier for me, guess it's where I've been using it for years now, & have basically forgotten everything about Cubase....which I found out yesterday is probably a good thing....

Ok ...... it's time for my step by step instruction on building yourself a tele.

Step 1. .... buy some tele parts.

Bolt everything together 'till it looks like this.

Caught them having a sale on some of the parts.
It definitely has that tele twang and it's a unique sound that I've wanted for country gigs ....... I'm gonna go find some country guys to sit in with and see how it handles it.

This is it saying it's very first words .... ..... literally the first time I've played it thru an amp ....... I found my fret files today ..... got it all set up ...... I'm really tired but I had to see how well it worked and I figured I may as well record it so I stuck my Dr-05 in front of the Marshall 6101 ( not the best twangy country amp but it's ready to go ) and picked on it thru all the p'ups to make sure it all worked.
It did ...... yay!

Fuck yeah jonny. Nice cab. Is that a true custom build from scratch? It looks like one of those 18w or 2061x cabs. Very nice.

I didn't make it! I wish I could make stuff like that. I had it made by a professional cab maker.

Thanks Miner. The JCM800 is doing just fine sitting in its flight case (under the amp in that last pic). I haven't had time to screw in my new speakers (also just visible in that pic) - too much school work to do right now, which is annoying. Maybe this weekend.

I still have my Celestion boxes the '65 & G12H came in...I put 2 of the T-75's in 'em, & still have the other 2 in a "Gay Rum" box the Gerg sent me last year....lol...

Here's a bunch of tones I made this evening screwing around with my effects in the daw....All of 'em are modeled after stompboxes, & I ran most of them through my amp with the re-amp box...There's a couple that have post-fx (added to the recorded track) in the daw too....

Nice looking & sounding guitar Lt. Bob. I hadn't noticed the squared off bit for the jack plug before.
I wish I had the skills to put something together. maybe, when I retire in 30 months, I'll be able to learn the skills required to solder properly to start with.
