I recommend the Allen & Heath Mizwizard4 16.2. It has 16 XLR inputs with decent preamps. You can add a proprietary USB card (cost about $300) to the Mixwizard which will send 16 separate tracks to your computer. I have used it effectively. The Mixwizard has some good onboard effects that would lend themselves nicely to vocal recordings.
