Tascam US-122, I'm not sure on this..

I'm looking at the Tascam US-122 , looks like an interesting machine. What I want to be able to do is transfer the audio (track by track, or just the stereo mix) from my Tascam 388 (8-track 1/4" r2r) into my computer. This can be done when using the line level inputs on the Tascam, or am I mistaking here?
Also, what worries me is that my computer is not the fastest (Pentium III 533Mhz, 256 RAM), will this be a problem?

It has two line ins that I have used for transferring cassette stuff to the PC to CD. It worked fine.

I didn't have trouble with the USB.

I have a AMD Duron 750MHz with 256 MB RAM running Windows 98 SE, and it does not seem strained at all.

I'm listening to your song right now, must say that it isn't really my type of music, but you did a nice job on the recording. Did you use any outboard devices or did you just go mic > tascam > pc?
BTW, there isn't a stereo input on the us122, is there? Cause there will be occasions when I'll mix songs on the 388, so I'd like to be able to just send the final mix via the stereo outs to the PC instead of having to do it track by track.

The vocals were recorded mic mic > tascam > pc. One of the big reasons I got the US122 was to have mic pres with phantom power. I used a Rode NT3. The bass and acoustic guitar were recorded direct using the US122 guitar input feature. The electrics were recorded using a Digitech RP50 going into the line ins.

BTW, there isn't a stereo input on the us122, is there?.

It has 2 line ins which can be set up as a stereo channel in your recording software.
