Sub-divide this group?

Sorry if this has been proposed before and I've missed the thread.

Would it be helpful if this group were subdivided by multitracker type? For example a sub-menu with MR8, vf160, Fostex 4 Trackers, etc listed as a further choice?

Reason i ask is most posts here seem to be for MR8 owners and i have a vf160, so I have to wade through a lot of irrelevant stuff to get to the few posts that deal with my machine.

Unfortunately not everyone is helpful enough to post the machine type in the subject (eg 'MR8 mixing Problem', 'vf160 disk burning issue', etc)

What do others think of this idea? If its backed, maybe the moderators could arrange it?

Views?

VF-80 owner who thought of getting a VF160 and sometimes still yearns for one...

I wonder if it would help for people to take your suggestion and post their machine type in the subject section. I enjoy reading posts from others with different gear than what I have (VF80) but it's also cool to be able to know straight-out when a post deals with the machine I use.

I also enjoy info about other machines that I may not have otherwise run across, but putting the machine in the subject would be a nice 'standard'.

Yes, but...

Of course many people are interested in other information and experiences of owners of other machines, that's the type of cuirous inquisitive people we get here!

However, sundividing the group wouldn't stop anyone from dipping into the MR8 group, or the vf160 group, etc to see what's going on. It would help people who are looking for specific information about their own machine to find it more quickly, and would also help those who are not interested in other machines.

As we've had no response from the moderators I'l assume the sugestion won't be being taken up.

I often go here,
http://pub15.ezboard.com/fvf16frm1
because it's a dedicated vf160 board and most of the information is relevant to me. The down side is that it's not as busy as here, so you wait a bit longer for a response and there are not as many responses. Still, very helpful people.
