Stock vs. Modified Oktava MK-012s mp3s

FP.

The CD's have been sitting here since "back then", but the OS on my puter started having issues with my printer(I intend to label these CD's for you:) ), which I originally thought was a printer fault. Installing XP Pro proved it was an OS issue but now XP won't talk to my scanner and the bloody printer ran out of coloured toner......just when I thought I had the litlle sucker beaten.

Anyways, for now it's back to the kitchen to continue cooking an "old family recipe" for spaghetti which involves me consuming copious quantities of Port:D

Not yet. My wife made me work in the (dreaded) basement this weekend. ;)
Hopefully in the next few days.
 
Here is what I was hesitant to do for many weeks, but finally it is here. It made tremendous change in the sound--no mudd, everything opened up. I would not say this mic is dark anymore, but very well balanced, nice sound. Next, here I will try my schematics I made for ECM8000.

Cool! I wonder if you could put the big mesh back on and leave the fine stuff off? Was it hard to remove without messing up the diaphragm?

Actually, it is hard to mess the diaphragm when you remove it... unless you are 'talented'. :D
But why do you want to put it back? The perforated thing in front of diaphragm works as a perfect screen--no noise.
Anyway, just for you I tryed it--yeah, no problem to put it on.
