It appears to be a German mic. Probably as good as a Neumann by the looks of it. Nice case and great silk screening is a serious indicator of quality.

Yes. Unlike all those trashy mics by losers like Soundelux, Lawson, Brauner, Josephson, et al ;)

You're a card Accy ;) :D

Next you'll be telling us that the 3630 is the World's greatest compressor.

A 3630 is the PERFECT comressor to use with this mic. A world class combo. Just add a Blue Tube and you're off to the best recordings ever.

Nah, it doesn't even come close to the sheer aural magnificence that is a pair of C1000s via a VLZ1202 into a soundblaster.

Really? Where can I get that killer combo?

Why! At any branch of Guitar Center of course! :)

Where the real pros go for their high end gear fix ;)

:D

Sir.

We are deadly serious. Accy and I have embarked on a crusade to enlighten home recordists everywhere to truths which have been kept from them by a sinister conspiracy of studio owners and gear pimps for far too long.

We know which way the wind blows ;)
