That reminds me of a story:
As a civil engineer, we use concrete for a lot of stuff.
Drainage structures, retaining walls, light pole foundations, rip-rap... a lot of stuff.
One time, we had this big concrete flume comming out of a pond. One of the architects on the project said, "Can't you guys do something about the look of that flume?"
I said, "Well, yeah, we could paint it grey!?"
He didn't see the humor.

I was going to tile it with brick veneer, like what's there at the threshold, but I'd have to cut the brick down to a veneer.
96 of them.
I have a wet saw, but its kind of cheesy.
At any rate, that's pretty low on my list of priorities.

I am in my last year of Civil Engineering Technology and we make fun or architects all the time. It's fun
