Soundelux R1 ?

I was wondering if anyone had heard the Soundelux R1?
Its the one that looks like a Neuman TLM103...If you have
used it how does it stack up to other mics in the 500.00
range?....Thanks in advance.

I was looking at it a few months back. Ask Fletcher about it, he'll give you the scoop.

I have the U97, it was the ~$600 4-pattern mic that's since been discontinued. I love it, don't know if you'll be able to find one anymore. I can only guess that the R1 is decent as well because
1)Mercenary sells it, so it can't suck!
2)Soundelux makes it, so it can't suck!
